It was designed by the French architect Michel Pinseau, the same one who designed the Moroccan pavilion at the Universal Exhibition in Seville. It took eight years to build, and was inaugurated in 1933, coinciding with the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad.

Do I need a visa?
For Spaniards and many other nationalities it is not necessary. But it is best to consult this with the appropriate embassy or consulate.
The following website of the Kingdom of Morocco can also help us: https://www.consulat.ma/es/lista-de-paises-cuyos-nacionales-no-precisan-visado-de-entrada-marruecos
What requirements must I meet to be able to travel?
We need a valid passport.
How far in advance is it advisable to make a reservation?
It is recommended to make a reservation as soon as possible in order to secure your place and also have a guarantee of the best price.
What luggage can I bring?
The suitcase/backpack can be any size, we always recommend that its transportation be comfortable. Depending on the length of the trip, 3 days for example, with a carry-on or a slightly larger suitcase is enough. Although you can always take the size you want, since if you are going to do a lot of shopping it will always be easier to put those souvenirs back in your suitcase when you return.
Regarding the type of luggage, the ferry is not as restrictive as the plane, therefore, they do not look as carefully if you are carrying liquids and what the amount is.
So you don’t really have any restrictions.
Are our trips done in groups?
We do group trips.
Enjoy the comfort and peace of mind of having your entire itinerary, accommodation and activities previously planned.
Stay in control of your budget by knowing the cost of the entire package and avoid surprises at the end of the bill.
Immerse yourself in enriching experiences with local guides who speak your language and experience Moroccan culture up close.
Make the most of your time, taking advantage of every moment of the day, without having to rush, without stress and without regrets of making wrong visit decisions.
Can minors travel? Can you travel with children? What minimum age is recommended to travel?
Morocco is a charming and safe destination for families. The local culture embraces children with love and they are welcome everywhere. The country offers fun and educational experiences, such as camel rides.
It is true that we do not recommend traveling with babies, because the country’s infrastructure makes it very difficult to travel with a baby pram, for example.
If a minor is traveling and neither of the parents is traveling with him, he will need a police authorization. Ask us for that form or directly at the police station and they should stamp it for you there.
Phone, communications and Internet
Morocco is outside the European Union, so normally we will not be able to use the internet or make calls. That is, you can, but it has a very high price (you can consult with your company).
This is why, about 10 minutes after the ferry starts, we recommend turning off mobile data.
➔ It is not necessary to put airplane mode on. (But if you think you might forget and use your phone, it’s a good solution)
➔ If they call us, we recommend not answering as it costs a lot for whoever makes the call and for whoever receives it.
In the hotel there is WIFI so you can connect and write to whoever you need. In any case, if someone needs to stay connected during the trip for any reason, you can always buy a SIM card in Morocco and recharge it to have internet, the Moroccan guide will help us with this if necessary.
What climate do we find in the country?
Morocco is a land of contrasts. Bathed to the north by the waters of the Mediterranean Sea, to the west by those of the Atlantic Ocean and crossed by the Rif and Atlas mountains, it is subject to all types of climatic influences.
However, Morocco is a very mountainous country, so it also has towns and regions with a cold climate due to the altitude. This is the case in the Atlas, where it snows relatively frequently in winter. Ifrane is striking, one of the cities that are part of our organized travel packages to Morocco: they call it Little Switzerland for its gabled roofs.
The cities and towns located around the Rif, in the north, and in general in the entire plateau that goes to the Atlantic coast deserve special mention: due to their altitude, the most notable fact is the thermal oscillation between sun and shadow and between morning and night. A good example of this is Chaouen, another of the classic destinations on our trips to Morocco: in this town, the fluctuation can be around 15 or 20 ºC, that is, hot during the day and cold at night.
In any case, you can always check the weather on the internet before traveling to the cities we will visit to know what clothes to bring.
Is there any type of mandatory clothing?
It is a liberal country, so there is no problem in wearing light, “Western” clothing for both men and women.
What is the Moroccan currency?
The official currency of Morocco is the dirham (dh).
Although in almost all the cities we visited you will have no problem paying with euros, the sellers will always make the most favorable exchange rate for them. In the establishments where you cannot pay by card, it is best to pay in dirhams.
The best place to change money in Morocco is the exchange office. You will find them in each city when you arrive. The guides will accompany you if you need help.
CHANGE: Approximately 10 dh (€0.90).
Can I pay with a credit/debit card?
They are sometimes accepted in hotels, restaurants and stores in major cities. However, in rural areas or small establishments, only cash payment is accepted.
Our recommendation is to carry cash. In all cities you will find ATMs and exchange offices if you want to change to Dirham (Morocco’s currency).
What type of plugs are used in Morocco?
In Morocco, the plugs are type C and E. Type C, also called euro plug, has two round pins, similar to those used in Spain and much of Europe. Type E features two round prongs and a male grounding prong, common in countries such as France and Belgium, and is compatible with Type C. Travelers from places with different plug standards, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, United States or Australia may need an adapter. However, many hotels provide adapters or these can be easily purchased at local stores.
In short, European and Spanish travelers do not need to travel with any adapter.
Visiting Morocco in Ramadan?
Of course! Traveling to Morocco on these dates is immersing yourself in a completely different trip, since the country adapts to the Muslim holiday. In these cases, it is possible to find closed places or less commercial activity, since people take advantage of this opportunity to practice their religion more or rest, but you will also be able to witness events and celebrations typical of the culture that you will not see at any other time of the year. This is why visiting Morocco during that season will give you a more complete vision of the country, in which you will likely feel much more fascinated and acculturated to what the event of Ramadan means.
The holy month of Ramadan is a crucial part of culture in Morocco, during which Muslims fast from sunrise to sunset. The beginning and end of Ramadan are determined by the lunar position. After sunset, food stalls and cultural experiences can be found. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, celebrated with family visits and special dishes. Seventy days later, Eid al Adha or the Feast of the Lamb commemorates Abraham’s sacrifice, with generous donations to the less fortunate.
