Itinerary
Lisbon, the capital of wonder:
There are many reasons to visit Lisbon and even more to want to return to it. From the arrival to the city through the “25 April Bridge” until the end of our stay, you will not stop being amazed!Lisbon is not only is the capital city of Portugal, with over 800 000 citizens, but it is also the westernmost capital in Europe. In Lisbon each neighborhood has its own charm and none resembles the other! Actually, from the recent “ Torre Vasco de Gama” to the famous “Torre de Belem”, Lisbon seems to have the power to transcend ages, with a special harmony! In this wonderful city, famous for its cobblestone floors that adorn each of its streets, you can feel the friendly atmosphere and walking in these streets is a truly enjoyable experience.Called the city of seven hills, Lisbon has a unique topography allowing many viewpoints over the city. For instance, the view of the sunset over the city from the “Castelo de São Jorge” offers an indescribable show, which one never tires of seeing…
At barely 30 minutes from Lisbon lies the wonderful town of Sintra, a place little known compared to Lisbon, Porto or Algarve but it quickly becomes a favorite for many tourists. And it’s not for nothing, Sintra enjoys a natural environment and an impressive amount of historical and cultural richness. Palaces, mansions, castles, … So much wealth in such a small town leaves no one indifferent!A walk through the district of Belem is also a mandatory visit as it offers another face of Lisbon. The district reflects the era of the sailing discoveries and the maritime power of Portugal. In fact, it is from there that the caravels of the navigator Vasco da Gama left to discover the sea route to India. Moreover, do not leave the district without tasting the famous and tasty “Pasteles de Belem” which recipe is kept more secret than the one of Coca-Cola.Finally, you can not leave Lisbon without chilling at night in “Bairro Alto”, THE party district in Lisbon. In this district, there are no monuments to see, only bars and restaurants. But once the sun is down, its vibe and the way to enjoy it is unique and there is no better place to party, dance the Fado and enjoy the cheap typical nightlife in Lisbon! Moreover, the Bairro Alto is a fantastic place to get to know people in Lisbon.
